Reiki and Indian Head Massage


Reiki, pronounced Ray-Kee, is a natural form of healing which can be given to anyone.  It is very gentle and can benefit anyone as it is non-invasive.  It is relaxing and powerful and works well alongside other complementary or conventional therapies, treatments and medicines.  Reiki can be given on a treatment couch or sitting in a chair whichever is more comfortable for the client.  It can be given to babies, children, adults, animals, even plants!!! Reiki balances the body, mind and spirit by balancing the Chakra system in the body which enables you to feel whole.  When this is achieved physical ailments are improved and mental blocks or old damaging thought patterns can be changed to bring about positive energy into your life.  When we think more positively our lives and our health becomes more positive too. This type of massage has been practised in India for thousands of years and is used within families as part of their daily regime.  The benefits of this massage, which focuses on the upper body, arms, neck, face and head, specifically target the areas most affected by mental and emotional stress.  It is a deeply therapeutic treatment which allows the person to shut off for a while and let their bodies unwind and their muscles relax. This therapy can be performed with or without oils with the client sitting and fully or partially clothed.  Indian Head Massage will release stress and tension, leaving you relaxed, revitalised and re-energised.
